The full treatment lasts around 6 months, starting with an in-clinic session followed by a daily at-home regimen. Duration may vary depending on the severity of your pigmentation.

You'll notice visible improvement within a few weeks after the in-clinic mask. However, continuing the at-home regimen is essential — early results mean melanin has been removed from the surface, but the melanocyte (the cell that produces pigment) still needs to be regulated to prevent spots from coming back.

Skipping the at-home cream means the melanocyte stays unregulated and continues overproducing pigment— so spots will return. Skipping sunscreen (Melan 130) also puts you at high risk of relapse, as your skin is more sensitive during treatment.

No. Cosmelan is non-invasive and won't disrupt your routine. Just avoid swimming pools, excessive sweating, and prolonged sun exposure in the first few days post-treatment. Some redness, mild peeling, and sensitivity are normal and will subside on their own.
